Foreclosure Registry Registration Service
Los Angeles City has worked close with the Building and Safety Department, Housing Department, and Police Department in which they came up with the mandatory Foreclosure Registry Program (Ordinance No. 181185). Ordinance No. 181185 is a residential property registration program that will help protect any foreclosed homes that need to be clean out. The ordinance requires proactive inspections, that will keep intruders from coming in. All properties need to be tenant and garbage free and to do that there is a need to keep trespassers out.
The way to do it is by filling out a “No Trespassing Form” which gives you the right to call the cops on anyone intruders, and get them arrested. The second is securing the area to make sure there is no junk, hazard, or people that may damage the house this way. To secure the location, there needs to be boards and fences that would need to go up. By doing so there is no way anyone can get in.
After you have secured your property, there is one simple task that needs to be done, and that is property inspections. Property inspections typically are done once a month. These inspections are mandatory, to see if there is any activity going on in the house.

Foreclosure inspections are no joke. There are possibilities that intruders are dangerous or carry dangerous pets that could possibly attack. These people obviously would not like to get kicked out of the property, so it is best to send LACPP trained professionals to clean up the place. It is never easy to get intruders out, but it is definitely doable. Once the trespassers are out our team of clean up experts make sure the entire place is cleaned up. No wires, no furniture, no trash, and no junk!
